Sir Stewart Eldon is a consultant and commentator on international defence and security issues and anti-corruption. He served as UK Permanent Representative to NATO; Ambassador to Ireland; and Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN in New York. As a partner with The Ambassador Partnership, Sir Stewart has worked with corporate clients on opportunities for expansion and solving commercial problems in West Africa and the Horn. He also advises the NGO Transparency International on counter-corruption in the defence and security sectors. He is an experienced coach and trainer, and recently delivered negotiation and mediation training to the Southern African Development Co-Operation Council for Southern African Generals and Civil Servants destined for senior roles in African Union and UN Missions.
